Hey Sister!

Life and future is all about making decisions; the more they are alligned with your aspirations the less the chances are to feel regret or give up in the middle of the path.

It’s true that at first you didn’t really know where to head to, but very fast things got clear..
I know you since day One and I know that you made the RIGHT choice. Be sure that you will always find me backing you up whenever you get tired or have doubts…and by the way…efforts always pay :)

I’m so happy you made it and so proud of you. Wishing you the best.

I smile because I am your sister….I laugh because you can’t do anything about it!
Love you sis!

United Colors of Lebanon

Lebanon for all and all for Lebanon. The 18 different religious communities have participated in the various heal efforts, rescue and taking care of the displaced. (Not forgetting that several foreign countries have offered what they can offer and are now helping us clean up the mess.) Though it’s true that if you are Lebanese you automatically belong to one of the communities, what will stay our common denominator forever is that however different our opinions are, our heart is eternally linked to our piece of paradise…Lebanon…well this is as far as the people are concerned, but what about the politicians?

Can I have some sleep now?

Thank you for all people who stood against the war and all the soldiers who refused to be part of it…

The situation is somewhat calm, but still…we are all looking forward to the gigantic efforts that will be put into the coordination of the infinite number of plans that should be implemented all together…(I can’t count them, there are so many and I hardly have an idea of what to start with)…anyways…

Can I have some sleep now?

Wait and see…

They say it’s all a matter of hours before the war ends. I don’t know why, but I feel skeptical. All we can do now is wait and see… (I hope I am wrong).

Let’s imagine that the war really ended and all concerned parties implemented resolution 1701… that in my opinion will be the ZERO hour in the biggest challenge this country will have to face: The race against TIME to rebuild everything back. Several years will be needed to erase the face of this new major destruction (Every single sector being fatally hit) which will not make things any better :(The innocents’ blood that has been spilled will never be forgotten…

Disgusting

When you know what happened, it’s painful. When you see the bloody pictures, it’s painful. When you hear the comments, the sound of the warcraft and rockets, it’s painful. When you see how some people deal with it, it’s painful. When you see the displaced living conditions, it’s painful…

But more painful is when innocents get killed, even when they got “clearance” to leave because they were asked to by force..

Roads, bridges, civilian’s cars..were destroyed. Civilians were told to leave. They did. But on the way to a “safer” place, they got killed by “mistake”…

Not just painful…disgusting!

Le Hell

Welcome to Le Hell, war as I never witnessed in Lebanon or anywhere else before…elders used to tell us about old war stories, but it’s difficult to get the essence of it unless you live it…huh? Live it? No, I would prefer to kill it…

When I finally reached my “aha!” (in reference to someone finding himself and knowing what to do with it), I found myself taken into a hurricane of torments asking what I should do, now that my plans don’t stand on solid grounds anymore.

I had dreams…I still do.

They can take everything away except that one thing: Dreams.

The weather seems on hold, people are waiting for something to happen while others are taking action either by helping as much as they can, either by helping themselves on the expenses of their brothers.

Some say you know the truth about people only when they face Le Hell because that is when decisions need to be made…decisions to take Lebanon, out of hell and giving us the chance to see our dreams come true.

We can help this country with our dreams…because it’s hope…
