Abou Merhi Cruises – Orient Queen II – My first impression

I was so excited to know that I’d get to test a cruise. Abou Merhi Cruises is proposing a 8-day tour around Limassol, Rhodes, Mykonos, Bodrum and Marmaris. I did not think twice about it; I had to go and experience this.

I’ve been wondering what everything would look like. But the truth is that I was impressed. For starters, everything went smoothly at the customs, I checked in and the ladies at the reception showed me my cabin. What do you think? 🙂

My cabin

Equipped with:

  • Loofah Pad
  • Shower Cap
  • Body Wash
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Moisturizer

You only need your toothbrush and toothpaste!

There is even a TV in the cabin. (Something I don’t even use at home :P) So far, so good!

I made a quick tour of the ship; here is a sneak peak of some place I will revisit as soon as passengers use them.

Before departing, we were given the emergency procedure as a drill; the alarm signal was toned: 7 short beeps and 1 long. We gathered at the muster station and got details on what to do in case something happened.

Now, I am ready to cruise!
